Growth 🌱
Last week I offered you 10 hacks that require zero talent. This week I want to build on that and serve you with possible actions to foster your growth, 45 to be exact.
Growth is a force of nature. At the end of May, I commented on the beauty and power of the Spring when everything is re-born. There are some natural laws, which we would do better to embrace. Like a current, they move us forward, while the effort to resist them will exhaust us. It is difficult to negate gravity, time, relativity, or for that matter, growth.
Last week’s talent hacks were simple. This week’s tips are as simple.
Simple doesn’t mean easy. Knowing or articulating is one thing but doing something about it, doing it consistently, or achieving it, is another. It is HARD. This is where support and accountability buddies (friends, a team, peers, or a coach) helps in not dropping the ball.
I have no doubt that you are already doing many of those in some way, without naturally associating them with your growth. So let’s pause and recognise the benefits of those actions in your development, perhaps do more of it or recalibrate.
The list of hacks below is not prescriptive. On the contrary, it is the starting point of what must be yours for your own ownership. If you feel that something works for you and is not listed here, brilliant! Add them to the list and share them with those around you and with me so we can offer more ideas to the wider community.
Here we go then! 45 growth hacks for you!
